In a commendable effort to address various societal challenges faced by youth, Ego Bekee Football Academy has launched an innovative computer training program. This initiative, spearheaded by Miss. Juliana Onyinyechi Akabueze, the overseer and coordinator of the academy, focuses particularly on empowering female students with essential computer literacy.

Miss. Akabueze, a visionary leader, recognized the need for girls to acquire skills beyond football to ensure they are not left behind in the rapidly evolving digital era. She introduced this program to provide girls with opportunities to learn computer skills that can open doors to various career paths, such as secretarial work, computer operations, and other IT-related services. This initiative aims to equip female students with the knowledge needed to secure employment and achieve financial independence, especially if their football careers do not pan out as planned.
The computer training sessions are held every Tuesday at 4 PM, providing consistent and structured learning opportunities. By integrating these skills into the academy’s curriculum, Ego Bekee Football Academy not only enhances the future employability of its students but also helps mitigate societal issues such as early pregnancy, drug abuse, and molestation.
Through this initiative, Miss. Akabueze hopes to create a supportive environment where girls can thrive both on and off the field. The academy’s commitment to holistic development ensures that its students are well-rounded individuals, prepared to face the future with confidence and competence.
