A young woman from Owode Idiroko in Ogun State has cried out for urgent assistance after being abandoned by her husband following the birth of their quadruplets.

According to reports, her husband disappeared when she was just four months pregnant, leaving her to bear the financial and emotional burden alone. In a viral video, the distressed mother made a passionate appeal to well-meaning Nigerians and philanthropists for support.

“I’m the mother of the quadruplets from Owode Idiroko, Ogun State. My husband left when I was four months pregnant, and since then, there’s been no support. We haven’t paid our hospital bills, we have no food or clothing. Please, Nigerians, help me. Agbala Gabriel fans, I’m also pleading with you,” she said tearfully.

She specifically called on popular cleric Gabriel Ademola Amosun, widely known as Agbala Gabriel, seeking intervention and support.

A relative of the woman also spoke in the video, adding that the babies had been referred to a private hospital in Ogba, Lagos State, where they were immediately placed in incubators—an indication that they were either born prematurely or required intensive care. According to the family, the medical bills at the hospital have already risen to ₦4.2 million.

“We are relatives of the woman who gave birth to quadruplets. The babies were placed in incubators, and we were charged N4.2 million. Please, Agbala Gabriel and fellow Nigerians, we desperately need your help,” the relative pleaded.

The heart-wrenching story has sparked concern online, with many Nigerians calling for swift intervention to support the young mother and her four newborns.
