“I’m Not the Sacrifice — Mum Was”: Governor Umo Eno’s Daughter Makes Shocking Claims in Viral Video
Jane Edidiong Ufot, daughter of Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, and his Senior Special Adviser on Health, Safety, and Environment, has made startling accusations in a video that has gone viral on social media. In the emotional footage, she alleges that her late mother, Patience Oluwakemi Umo Eno—who died in September 2024 after an undisclosed illness—was a “sacrifice.”
In the video, Mrs. Ufot emotionally declares,
“I’m not a sacrifice, mummy was—but I’m not.”
The video shows her handing her phone to her young daughter, who was reportedly on a video call with Governor Umo Eno. The child can be heard asking heartbreakingly:
“So, Grandpa, do you want them to kill us? Do you want them to die like my baby brother died?”
The governor did not respond audibly during the exchange. It remains unclear who the child meant by “them,” and there has been no confirmation of the identity or existence of the “baby brother” referenced.
Mrs. Ufot further claims that her life, and that of her daughter, could be in danger due to undisclosed truths that, in her words, may soon come to light.
“If I die today or my daughter dies… if we die because God is exposing the truth, so be it. But my blood will not go scot-free,” she said in the video.
Patience Umo Eno, the First Lady of Akwa Ibom State, passed away on Thursday, September 26, 2024, with the cause of death officially listed as an undisclosed illness. Since her passing, no detailed information about her health or the circumstances surrounding her death has been made public.
The emotional and troubling nature of the video has sparked widespread concern and speculation online. As of the time of this report, there has been no official statement or response from Governor Umo Eno or the Akwa Ibom State Government.
