Man Drags Prophet to Court Over Alleged Affair and Miscarriage
A furious husband, Nigel Furaijo, has taken a self-proclaimed prophet, Edson Chirimani, to court, demanding compensation after accusing him of impregnating his wife, which allegedly led to a miscarriage.
The woman’s identity has not been disclosed, but Furaijo claims she admitted to having an affair with Chirimani, leaving him feeling betrayed and disrespected. He insists that the prophet should take responsibility for his actions and reimburse him for the hospital bills incurred due to the miscarriage.
However, Chirimani has denied the allegations, stating that he has no involvement with Furaijo’s wife. He claims Furaijo has been harassing him with threatening messages and even visited his home to confront him. According to Chirimani, Furaijo once sent him a picture of his wife, asking if he knew her, to which he responded that he did not, as he interacts with many people through his religious work.
The dispute has escalated to the Harare Civil Court, where a peace order has been granted in Chirimani’s favor, barring Furaijo from further harassment. Despite the court ruling, Furaijo remains adamant that Chirimani should “man up” and take responsibility, while the prophet continues to maintain his innocence.
