Nigerian Woman Shares Expert Advice on the Easiest Path to Canada with a Work Permit

Chisom Chigbo, a Nigerian woman, has shared her migration journey, offering valuable advice for others aiming to better their lives abroad. In a viral message, she encouraged people to remain flexible and consider alternative destinations if their dream country proves difficult to enter, while staying focused on their long-term goals.

Chisom recounted how she initially faced multiple challenges trying to secure Canadian residency from Nigeria. However, after several attempts, she shifted her focus when the United Kingdom opened its doors to families. Seizing this opportunity, she moved her family to the UK, where they were able to live and work.

Despite settling in the UK, Chisom didn’t give up on her Canadian dream. Once she and her family were established in the UK, she restarted her Canadian immigration process. To her surprise, she secured permanent residency in Canada within just six months.

Chisom cautioned that delays in migration processes could make relocating more difficult in the future. She urged aspiring migrants to remain adaptable and strategic, advising them to take opportunities when they arise and keep their options open. “If the country of your dreams is hard to get into, consider migrating to another country while you keep trying,” she wrote.
