Comr. Onyebuchi O. Chukwu, Special Assistant to the Abia State Governor on Youth Development, has been named a member of the Tinubu/APC 2027 Presidential Campaign Council, in a development that places an aide of the Labour Party-led Abia State Government on the campaign council of the rival All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
According to the updated list released by the APC National Secretariat, Chukwu, also referred to as Eze Onyebuchi Chukwu, is listed under the South East Youth Mobilization Zonal Directorate, serving as Deputy Director alongside Zonal Director Obinna Iyiegbu, popularly known as Obi Cubana. He also appears separately as a general member of the council.
Arochukwu Blog gathered that the Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) is scheduled to be formally inaugurated today, Wednesday, 14th October 2026, at 11:00 a.m., at the Banquet Hall, Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Chukwu currently serves in Governor Alex Otti’s administration as Special Assistant on Youth Development, a role under a Labour Party-led state government, while President Bola Tinubu, whose re-election campaign Chukwu has now been named to support, leads the opposing APC.
This is a developing story. Arochukwu Blog will provide updates as more details emerge.
