ICT, Agricultural Training, and Digital Education: The Best Form of Youth Development — LP Chieftain Applauds Rep. Ibe Okwara Osonwa’s Empowerment Initiatives

A chieftain of the Labour Party, Hon. Kalu Eni, has commended the ongoing empowerment programs initiated by Hon. Ibe Okwara Osonwa, describing them as a transformative approach to youth development in Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency.

According to Hon. Eni, Hon. Osonwa’s investment in ICT training, agriculture, and digital education, as well as the provision of laptops and other empowerment tools, represents a significant step toward equipping young people with the skills necessary for self-reliance and economic growth.

“The investment in ICT training, agriculture, and the provision of laptops, among other empowerment programs by Hon. Ibe Okwara Osonwa, is a game-changer,” he stated. “This is the kind of visionary leadership our youths need to secure a brighter future.”

He further emphasized that Hon. Osonwa is staying true to his campaign promises by prioritizing sustainable human capital development over temporary financial aid.

“In his manifesto, Hon. Ibe Okwara Osonwa pledged to equip our youth with valuable skills rather than relying on handouts. Today, he is demonstrating that commitment through practical and impactful initiatives,” Hon. Eni added.

Among the numerous programs facilitated by Hon. Osonwa, the integration of tech-enabled education at Ofali Agwu School stands out as a forward-thinking initiative aimed at bridging the digital divide. Additionally, his focus on agribusiness empowerment, free JAMB registrations for students, ICT training, and the distribution of HP laptops further underscores his dedication to fostering innovation and economic empowerment among young people.

Hon. Eni called on other political leaders to emulate Rep. Osonwa’s approach, stressing that knowledge and technology-driven empowerment remain the most sustainable strategies for reducing unemployment and poverty.

“The best way to uplift our youth and women in business is through knowledge, skill acquisition, and access to technology. Hon. Osonwa has set a commendable example, and I urge others to follow in his footsteps,” he concluded.

Hon. Ibe Okwara Osonwa’s empowerment programs continue to receive widespread recognition, solidifying his reputation as a leader committed to the long-term growth and development of his constituency.
