Today, with heavy hearts, we bid farewell to our beloved brother, son, and kinsman, Alex Ekubo.
Alex was more than a celebrated movie star; he was a shining ambassador of Arochukwu, a man whose humility, kindness, and generosity endeared him to people from all walks of life.
Through his talent, hard work, and dedication, he brought honour and recognition to Arochukwu, inspiring other young persons to dream big.
As a proud son of Arochukwu, he carried our heritage with him wherever he went laced with dignity and grace.
His warmth, compassion, and willingness to uplift others remain unforgettable.
Though his earthly journey has come to an end, the memories of his good deeds, infectious smile, and remarkable achievements will continue to live in the hearts of many.
Arochukwu has lost a worthy son, Nigeria has lost a gifted star, and humanity has lost a compassionate soul but we take solace in the lives he touched while with us.
On behalf of my family, the good people of Arochukwu ADC and other of our supporters who admired and loved him, I extend my deepest condolences to the Ekubo family, his friends and all who mourn this great loss.
May God grant all of us the strength to bear this painful departure, and may the gentle soul of our beloved Alex find eternal rest in the bosom of the Almighty.
