Anambra Patriots for Soludo (APS) has made a generous donation of N30 million to Governor Charles Soludo to support the purchase of expression and nomination forms ahead of the November 8 governorship election.
The check was formally presented to Governor Soludo at the Governor’s Lodge, Amawbia.
It is worth noting that APS had previously purchased the forms for Governor Soludo on February 28, 2025, prior to this official presentation.
APS is the first group to transform their support for the incumbent governor into a financial contribution.
Arc Okey Ezeobi, the convener of APS, explained that the group’s decision to donate N30 million was driven by Governor Soludo’s exceptional performance in office.
“There is no better way to show our gratitude to Gov Soludo for his remarkable achievements than to back him financially. He has made us proud with his five-star performance,” Ezeobi stated.
He further emphasized that APS is committed to ensuring Governor Soludo wins every ward across the 21 local government areas of the state in the upcoming election.
“We have put plans in place to spread the good news of Gov Soludo’s achievements throughout the state. Our support is a way of encouraging him to continue his great work,” he added.
Governor Soludo, upon receiving the N30 million donation, expressed his gratitude to all APS members and officials for their unprecedented generosity.
He reassured the people of Anambra that his administration would remain focused on delivering on its promises to create a livable and thriving homeland for all.
The APS convener was joined by the group’s Chairman, Chief Ejiamatu Damian Enekwechi, and other distinguished members for the presentation.
