Iyom Isu has officially endorsed Hon. Ifeanyi Elvis Ogbonna, popularly known as Ignes, pledging its support for his aspiration to represent Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency in the National Assembly.
Announcing the endorsement, Ignes Ogbonna Media wrote: “Day before yesterday, Iyom Isu officially endorsed Hon. Ifeanyi Elvis Ogbonna (Ignes) and pledged their strong support for his aspiration to represent the good people of Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency.”
The statement added, “The endorsement is a clear expression of confidence in Ignes’ vision, capacity, and commitment to delivering meaningful representation and development,” further noting, “The people are speaking, and the Ignes mandate continues to gather momentum.”
Arochukwu Blog gathered that the endorsement is one of several the campaign has received from groups within the constituency in recent weeks.
Ignes is one of several aspirants currently in contention for the Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency seat ahead of the 2027 general election. He previously received a public reception in Arochukwu following his unveiling as the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) candidate for the seat in August 2026.
As endorsements and campaign activities continue across the constituency ahead of the election, attention remains on how the race between the declared candidates, including the APC’s Ikenna Nicolas Ukwa, will shape up going into 2027.
