In a recent development within the Arochukwu Kingdom, the Ututu Leadership Forum, comprising Ututu Council of Traditional Rulers, Ndi Ezeogo Ututu in Council, and Ututu Development Association (UDA), took a bold step to distance themselves from the endorsement of a nominee for the esteemed position of Eze Aro.
In an official statement released by the Ututu Leadership Forum, HRM Eze Solomon A. Okereke, Chairman of Ututu Council of Traditional Rulers, alongside Ezeogo Cletus Okore Kalu, Chairman of Ndi Ezeogo Ututu in Council, and Chief Sir Nwankwo Charles Kalu – FNIQS, President General of Ututu Development Association, unequivocally disclaimed any involvement or consent in the unilateral endorsement of Nwamazi Pastor Eberechukwu Oji for the revered office of Eze Aro of Arochukwu Kingdom.

Akang (Ezeogo Obiene) was conducted without consultation or consent from the Ututu Clan, marking it as an act of interference in the internal selection process of the Eze Aro Okeigbo.
