Arochukwu is set to host a welcome roadshow and solidarity convergence tomorrow, Tuesday, 22nd September 2026, as the community prepares to receive the Labour Party’s presidential candidate and rally support for the re-election of Governor Alex Otti and other Labour Party candidates ahead of the 2027 general election.
According to details of the event, the roadshow will commence at Amuvi and proceed through to the Civic Centre, Oror, Arochukwu, where the solidarity convergence will subsequently hold.
The event, titled “Arochukwu Welcome Roadshow & Solidarity Convergence For Gov. Otti 2027,” is being organised to welcome the Labour Party’s presidential candidate to Arochukwu and to rally grassroots support for Governor Otti’s re-election bid, alongside other Labour Party candidates contesting under the party’s platform in the 2027 general election.
Arochukwu Blog gathered that anticipation has been building within the community ahead of the event, with residents expected to converge in large numbers along the roadshow route and at the Civic Centre for the solidarity convergence.
The event comes at a time when political activities have continued to intensify across Arochukwu, Ohafia and the wider Abia North senatorial district, with various candidates and their supporters stepping up campaign activities ahead of the 2027 general election.
