Abia State Government Releases List of Successful Candidates for 2025 Teachers Recruitment

The Abia State Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education has released the list of successful candidates for the 2025 Abia State Teachers Recruitment Exercise.

According to a press release signed by Dr. Uzomaka Amah-Mbah, Chairman of the Recruitment Committee, the Ministry has published three lists on its recruitment portal:

1. List of Successful Applicants
2. Applicants with Pending Academic Certificate Issues
3. Applicants Disqualified on Age Grounds

All candidates who took part in the interview stage are advised to check their status on the official recruitment portal: www.mobse-abiastategov.ng

Successful applicants are instructed to print their appointment letters from May 19, 2025, through the recruitment portal.

Candidates with academic certificate issues have been given another chance to present their original academic documents between May 14 and May 15, 2025. They are to appear at the Board Room, Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education, Abia State Secretariat, by 9:00 AM. These candidates must bring original copies of their academic and NYSC certificates. Statements of result will not be accepted from those who graduated more than five years ago.

Those disqualified on age grounds who believe they were wrongly classified can also appear at the same venue and time for case review. They must provide valid proof to support their claim. Anyone unable to prove their case or found to have submitted falsified documents will be handed over for prosecution.

The government advises all affected individuals to comply with the instructions and complete the verification processes as required.

For more information and to view the full lists, candidates are to visit http://www.mobse-abiastategov.ng
